Face Modeling

This assignment is a very interesting one… v have to model our own face in 3D and then……………….. (drum rolls) Convert it into a zombie face!… basically “zombify” ourselves… and then we rig the face and make it smile, cry, angry, scream, look up, down watever it is…

This is my Work In Progress of that assignment. Heres the face i modeled so far… and i freaked when i finished makin it… it did look familiar to someone!!! hahaa! hope u like it… ill upload the progress of the work as i make it.

Robotic Animal

This was something we had to do back in the first term…

An animal with “MOVING” mechanical parts!! After roughly two weeks of designing and grabbing ideas and references for the mechanical pieces…. here it is… My Mechanical Scorpion!!! in “Stable mode” and “Attack mode”!!!

This is my superhero assignment…

i decided to model my favorite superhero – Logan aka Wolverine!!! After finishing the model, we applied Mocap on the character… It was awesome!!!

This is Wolverine in pose…. Done entirely in XSI…

Jumping SphereBots!!!

This was the first interesting animation assignment i had in VFS… Did the animation on Softimage XSI… Its basically dealing with a sphere bot… jumping twice… sounded boring…  so i kinda improvised on it a bit…. gave it a little story… hehe… a sphere bot with a motive…

Environment

This is an environment project done my team which included 5 guys in VFS…. we had to get a reference picture from any source and create a 3D version of it… It was a new thing for me and so it was very exciting! its a little inclined to fantasy… and i was attracted to the style and detail involved in the reference we chose!

Team members: Joby, Vivek, Alex, Mark and me…. The model was made in “Softimage XSI” and it took us around a week to model in all the details… it was lots of fun!

I also have a few clips on Classical Animation. And the rest of the clips will be stuff i made on Softimage XSI and Maya.

In the beginning this page will contain basic stuff dealing with animation. And im hoping as time goes on, i will keep improving and uploading better clips!

Rite now…

Right now im in the middle of all my assignments back in school and i was wondering which of my work should i put in first… should i jus take it easy … go with the flow or just hunt for the best of my work and upload that?… i think ill be doing the first option….

i dont have any “best” work as such… just a few basic 3D! A few more days and ill start uploading my stuff. Dont know why im thinking too much about this issue… finding it really exciting!

Whats Happening?

Right now… the whole site is under construction and a few elements need to be fixed. One of my good buddies , Vaibhav Dugar is developing this site. In a few days, Ill be putting on my work, which could be anything from a jpeg file to an avi file…

I’ll also be keeping u guys updated about whats going on in school and what new stuff will I be adding into this site.
